The owners of this 1920’s era home wanted spaces that made more sense for the lifestyle of a 21st century family, while honoring the original design of the house. Foodies and frequent entertainers, they wanted to visually connect the kitchen to the rest of the living spaces and the backyard, and create a sense of continuity throughout. Upstairs, I updated the bathrooms to meet the needs of a large household, and used colorful tilework, marble finishes, and graceful archways to honor the original style of the home.
