LAURELHURST KITCHEN
Portland, Oregon
This is a great example of how a small project resulted in a massive transformation. The clients are serious cooks, and needed to pack a lot of utility into a tight space. The wish list included better storage, increased counter space, more light and better flow into the rest of the house. I designed the cabinets to achieve both their storage and workspace needs, replaced the windows and light fixtures, and opened the kitchen up to the dining room. Even without expanding the actual size of the room, these changes maximized the space, beautifully and functionally.
