My clients wanted to update their 1920’s bungalow, maximizing unused space, while paying homage to some of the home’s original details. We started in the basement where we created another bathroom, laundry room, game space, living room, and storage area. Our modern facelift highlights the gorgeous wood floor joists, and repurposed the original furnace into a funky, vintage art piece.
On the main floor we opened up the kitchen to the dining room to bring a breezy flow into the living space, and revamped the dining nook to better accommodate a 21 st century family. In the bathroom, we combined the best of the original details with a new vanity, tiles, and lighting, creating a beautiful connection between the past and present.
